One-of-a-kind: The world's only roofbox with remote controlled electric opening and closing mechanism. Built on the same principles as our Skiguard 830 Touring, the 830 Touring Electric ensures the lowest-profile fitment, best aerodynamics, and integrated looks Skiguard is know for while at the same time making loading and unloading your gear even more convenient by opening/closing the box by the push of a button.

The Touring Electric is delivered with industrial grade linear actuators, lithium ion battery with 110VAC and 12V "emergency" charger, RF remote control, and internal LED lighting. With the most we advanced roof box on the market we also highly recommend painting the box to match the color of your car!

Low-profile and aerodynamic roof box. Fits most small and medium sizes cars and SUVs. The 830 Touring Electric has room for 2-3 golf bags, 4+ pairs of skis up to 205cm long or 4 carry-on sized bags.

The roof box is hinged in the front and has the lifting mechanism installed closer to the front of the box, allowing for excellent access to the cargo space from both sides. The lock is located on the rear left corner and is easy to reach from the rear or side of the car. Heavy duty weather-stripping between the upper and lower half mitigates water penetration into the box.

The Touring model has enclosed tunnels for the crossbars incorporated into the lower half of the box. These are placed to optimize the aesthetics and aerodynamics for the vehicle it is designed for. 4 U-bolts are used to securely fasten the box to the crossbars.

The 830 Touring is delivered with all required hardware and internal ski rack for 6 pairs of skis. The ski rack can easily be removed (and reinstalled) when the box is used for hiking, camping, golfing or travel bags.
