Skiguard 960 Touring

Large, heavy-duty rooftop cargo box for those in need of lots of cargo space. Fits full-size SUVs and some of the larger wagons.

This rooftop cargo box is hinged in the front and has the lifting mechanism installed closer to the front of the box, allowing for excellent access to the cargo space from both sides. The lock is located on the rear left corner and is easy to reach from the rear or side of the car. Heavy duty weather-stripping between the upper and lower half mitigates water penetration into the box.

The Touring model has enclosed tunnels for the crossbars incorporated into the lower half of the box. These are placed to optimize the aesthetics and aerodynamics for the vehicle it is designed for. 4 U-bolts are used to securely fasten the box to the crossbars.

The 960 Touring is delivered with all required hardware and internal ski rack for 6 pairs of skis. The ski rack can easily be removed (and reinstalled) when the box is used for hiking, camping, golfing or travel bags.
